My Philosophy
Your wellbeing is made up of multiple facets as pictured below. If any section is depleted in your wellness wheel then the wheel cannot turn smoothly. All facets need to be in balance for you to feel completely healthy. Let’s work together to ensure that you enjoy a smooth ride with your wellness wheel!

I use integrative medicine practices to help your body, mind and spirit find its Perfect Balance so as to allow you to heal. I believe that if you are not in balance, you are no longer at ease and therefore in a state of dis-ease. This places you at risk for a multitude of illnesses.
"Imagine a world in which medicine was oriented toward healing rather than disease, where doctors believed in the natural healing capacity of human beings and emphasized prevention above treatment. In such a world, doctors and patients would be partners working toward the same ends."
~ Andrew Weil
I had first heard of Dr. Weil when I was in medical school but only learned of his integrative medicine fellowship training program at the University of Arizona, much later. After having spent 2 years doing the training and learning about this different approach to medicine, I have come to the conclusion that this is the way that medicine should be. Both as a physician and as someone who has received care from medical providers, I have felt disheartened with the system; trying to both give and receive care within its confines. I realized that I needed to either leave medicine altogether or change how I practice medicine. Since my passion is still that of being a healer, I decided to become an independent practitioner and merge my years of experience as an internist and palliative care physician with what I had learned during my integrative medicine fellowship.

With people now sicker than ever and globally unhappy with the one size fits all mentality, I have found that many are looking for more than the siloed approach that mainstream healthcare currently offers. I would consider it an honor to be your partner on your journey to wellness, so grab my hand and let’s forge this path together.
